The Women’s Rugby World Cup is where we will put all our team bonding exercises to the test, says Rooster Chicken Fijiana XVs captain Sereima Leweniqila.
She was speaking during the opening of the Women’s Rugby World Cup in Auckland, New Zealand, yesterday.
During an interview Leweniqila said her team needs to work together if they want to win their first pool game against world’s number one England at Eden Park, Auckland, on Saturday.
“We need to work as a team,” she said.

“We are both grateful and excited ahead of our first Rugby World Cup match ever. Since before we left for New Zealand, we have received great and ongoing support, something very new for us.
“When we arrived in the country, we have met the local Fijian community and we hope they will show up in numbers.”
