Western teams Ba, Lautoka and Nadi have qualified to the semi-finals of the 2019 Vodafone Fiji FACT scheduled to take place this Saturday at Lautoka’s Churchill Park.
This was after Ba defeated the defending champions Rewa 3-1 in the last Pool B match to top the group yesterday.
Ba striker Saula Waqa opened the scoring in the 26th minute and the outcome was never in doubt thereafter.
Solomon Islander Darold Kakasi added another in in the 49th minute, before 19-year-old Kaliova Dau slotted in the penalty to confirm the win.
Rewa managed to get a consolation goal through former Labasa striker Gabrieli Matanasiga and bowed out of the tournament, having earlier won 3-0 against Nasinu before losing 3-1 to Nadi.
