The Arihiana Marino-Tauhinu captained- New Zealand Wahine XVs side knows what to expect when they face the Rooster Chicken Fijiana XVs in their Test clash at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva, this Friday.

The side arrived at the Nadi International Airport yesterday in a bid to give their players a run and the much-needed exposure.

Marino-Tauhinu will not be playing since she has been named in the Black Ferns squad for the Women's Rugby World Cup in New Zealand from October 8-November 12.

"It will be an exciting game," she said.

"Our women's team will play excellent rugby like the Fijianas. We'll keep the ball alive."

Other notable players include former Blacks Ferns reps like Kiritapu Demant, Aroha Savage, Grace Houpapa Barrett (Chiefs) and Harono Teiringa (Chiefs).

Marino-Tauhinu added that the team has not been together for long, but managed to assemble their quality players for the Fijiana XVs clash.

"Some have just come off our domestic season, so they're all keen. The girls cover most of the upper North Island.

"So it's where we've got the majority of really first class players playing rugby.

"We are looking forward to a good game against the Fijiana team and will give it our best shot."
