Defending Skipper Provincial Cup champions Ram Sami Suva will not underestimate Rewa in today’s Skipper Provincial Cup clash at the Burebasaga District School ground.

Speaking to SUNsports yesterday Suva team manager Nemani Tuifagalele said they’ll take a cautious approach.

“We will change our approach against a good Rewa team because they are improving,” he said.

“They are playing at home and have the upper hand with their fans behind them.

“We need to focus and do the basics right. We’ll make sure that we are controlling the pace of the game.

“Rewa will come out firing and we fear them because they will be out to make a statement.”

Tuifagalele said Rewa had led Nadi 10-8 in last week’s double header before the hosts recovered.

“They were defeated by a good Nadi side so they have been preparing well for quite some time now.

“Nadi had given them a good game so they know what to expect from us when we meet them.

“We’ll have to go in as underdogs because both teams want to win and get that vital three points.”

The match kicks off at 3pm.

Veteran fullback Enele Malele has been moved to first five eight while Leone Nawai returns to play at hafback.
