Weather Fails To Disrupt Bara Battle Training Session

The Frank Hilton Organisation, Fiji's leading early intervention service provider, persevered through the rain as another successful training session took place for the Amazing Wheelbarrow Race- Bara Battle fundraiser at Albert Park today.
Despite the inclement weather, participating teams demonstrated their unwavering commitment by attending the session.
Through these sessions, participants gain essential skills and knowledge necessary for the race, ensuring a competitive and exciting event.
In addition to the training sessions, the Frank Hilton Organisation is thrilled to announce the commencement of the Virtual Bara Battle, beginning tomorrow, July 16, at 6am. The virtual race will cover a distance of approximately 480 kilometers, encircling the island of Viti Levu.
Over 50 teams have registered for this virtual challenge, which offers participants the opportunity to contribute towards the cause.
For every $10 donation, teams will advance 1 kilometre closer to the finish line. The Virtual Bara Battle will span eight days and conclude on July 23. Each day of the Virtual Bara Battle, teams aim to complete a distance of 60 kilometres.
Teams successfully completing the virtual race will earn the privilege to participate in the Physical Bara Battle, which will be held at Albert Park on July 29.
