The challenge is now on the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua to continue on their winning run against Western Force in Perth, Australia, this Friday.
This was the gist of stand-in captain Tevita Ikanivere’s message shortly after their 27-24 win over the Hurricanes at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva last Saturday.
“It’s good that we are back in the winning circle,” Ikanivere said in his interview.
“We are aiming to win a spot in the quarterfinal. The top eight finish is in our hands, if we win our games.”
Ikanivere said the forwards had really improved on the technical aspects of the game compared to their previous encounter against the Blues.
