Zibraaz, Nalaubu Strike Lautoka’s Winning Goals

Hyperchem Pharmacy Lautoka has booked a spot in Sunday’s Digicel Fiji FACT at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva. 

This was after they beat Extra Supermarket Labasa, 2-1, in the first semifinal, this afternoon. 

Labasa started off strongly with their attacks with striker Christopher Wasasala and Ashneel Raju attempting for goals only for Lautoka goalkeeper Senirusi Bokini to deny them. 

Lautoka captain and veteran midfielder Zibraaz Sahib opened the scores through a penalty in the 30th minute before striker Sairusi Nalaubu slotted their second goal in the extra time of the first half. Blues led 2-0 at halftime. 

The second spell saw the Blues dominate most of the plays while Labasa was trying to regain their momentum. 

Aporosa Yada attempted Lautoka’s third goal in the 60th minute, however Simione Tamanisau did not let it past him. 

In the 80th minute, Iliesa Lino placed Labasa on the board as they trailed 2-1. 

Bokini guarded his territory well and denied Labasa’s two attempts from Wasasala. The Blues maintained their lead until the final whistle.
