I got injured against Rewa in the IDC. I wanted to up my performance from the B.O.G.

Lautoka goalkeeper Joela Biuvanua is set to give his best against Nadi in the opening round of the Vodafone Fiji FACT 2020 at the Churchill Park, Lautoka tomorrow.
The Naroi, Moala, Lau native has recovered after being injured.
He featured for the Blues in B.O.G and was injured when he collided with Rewa’s Bruce Hughes in the Courts IDC pool game.
He sought traditional help at Nagado, Nadi where he was healed.
“This is another major tournament this year,” he said.
“I got injured against Rewa in the IDC. I wanted to up my performance from the B.O.G.
“This is the time to give back to the Lautoka fans. Our match against Rewa in the Vodafone Premier League was a disappointing one. Nadi will be as tough as they are the defending champion. I vow to play my role for the team.”
Biuvanua attended Vashist Muni Primary School, Vashist Muni College before completing his education at AD Patel College in Ba
He has been a goalkeeper throughout, played Under-17, Fiji U20 but injured before he joins the Fiji U23.
He grew up in Navua and also played rugby as well at primary school.
