The Extra Bula FC faces a big test today as they try to end South Melbourne FC’s winning run in the OFC Pro League competition.
The Roy Krishna-captained side still fresh from their 1-0 win over Solomon Kings FC last Sunday has been challenged to maintain their winning run.
This was the gist of Bula FC head coach Stephane Auvray’s interview where he reiterated the importance of consistency.
“Consistency, is when we are able to offer game after game that same level of performance. Let’s be honest, to me that is most important” he said.
Auvray said he was happy with the players ability to adapt quickly when there is a change of formation.

However, he admitted that they are not that solid as a team, but are getting there.
The match kicks-off at 5.30pm in Ports Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
Top coach resigns
Meanwhile, hosts PNG Hekari FC suffered a setback in their campaign.
This was after OFC Media confirmed the resignation of head coach Marcos Gusmao due to personal and family reasons.
Gusmao who has twice coached the PNG men’s team was in-charge of Hekari FC’s first three matches of the season, with their 2-0 defeat to Auckland FC, being his final assignment.
The club has confirmed that assistant coach Jerry Allen will take on the head coach’s duties for the rest of the season.
