Eight football players transfer application has been under dispute.
Their cases have been referred to the Fiji Football Association Players Status Committee.
In an earlier interview Fiji Football Association chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf said the committee members will meet on Sunday to look into the matter.
The players are Labasa defender Antonio Tuivuna, Suva striker Sairusi Nalaubu, Waisake Navunigasau. Avinesh Waran Suwamy, Gabrieli Matanisiqa, Zainal Ali, Arami Manumanubai, and Tevita Koroi.
Tuivuna applied for transfer from Labasa to Lautoka, Nalaubu from Suva to Lautoka, Navunigasau is interested in rejoining Suva from Rewa, Suwamy is keen on moving back to Ba while Koroi has applied for his transfer from Tailevu/Naitasiri to Ba. Ali and Manumanubai are seeking their transfer from Lautoka to Navua.
Sorting process
Meanwhile, it was confirmed that 484 transfer applications were received during the Fiji FA pre-season Transfer Window which was opened from January 1 to January 31.
The month long Transfer Window saw 224 district transfer applications requested, 171 club to club, 85 Futsal and four women’s application were received.
Fiji FA player registration and transfer manager Rohitesh Narayan, said they have been sorting out the applications.
“There are some of the application which has already been approved and some are still pending,” said Narayan.
“We currently working on the applications and is expected to be done by this weekend.”
