Fiji Football Association has partnered with Fiji Television to air the 2020 Vodafone Fiji FACT live.
The coverage of the 16 games of the tournament begins on Saturday at Churchill Park, Lautoka.
Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel indicated overseas fans would be able to watch it on live stream.
The live streaming for our overseas patrons who were dying to see Fiji matches because they cannot come due to the border closure.
He indicated there was a lot of pressure on them to ensure live streaming.
“It is something that never been done before, it is history in the making where all16 matches will be shown live in Fiji.
“We are thankful for Fiji TV for coming on board and we hope to enhance it further,” Patel added.
He added that by end of year, Fiji FA would be working on package with whichever broadcast that comes with right amount of funding.
This would include the whole package of Fiji Football games and tournaments such Pillay Garments Champions vs Champions, Vodafone Premier League, Vodafone Fiji FACT, Punjas B.O.G, and Courts IDC
Fiji TV board chairman, Deepak Rathood, said: “We want to bring the most compelling content to the people of Fiji, and overseas as well, as sports is obviously everybody relates to.
“It is a proud moment for us and we hope this partnership can achieve these sort of things as we go ahead.”
