While he may be only known for being Labasa’s biggest fan but Mohammed Izaz is using the BiC Fiji FACT tournament to make extra money.

At the start of the match yesterday, Izaz walked to every pavilion selling snacks to spectators.

He brought 200 packets which included plain bean, peanuts and mixed bean.

“If you don’t work hard, you’ll have no money,” the 40-year-old said.

“It’s always sold out at these big tournaments and it’s a good time to sell snacks.

“I usually collect $30 to 40 per day during minor games but in big games like this, I pack and sell more.”

Following the first two matches, Izaz collected more than $100 from his sales.

“I have to sell fast before Labasa plays at 7:30pm.

“That’s my team and they will win the Fiji FACT.”

Labasa played Suva last night after this edition went to press.
