Consistency is key, says coach

Navua football coach Rodicks Singh believes they need to stay consistent if they are to do well.

He said this after Navua’s 7-2 win over Tailevu/Naitasiri in their Extra Premier League clash at Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour, Deuba, yesterday.

Singh told SUNsports that after the Fiji FACT final they have been having mixed results.

“The key here is consistency,” he said.

“This is much-needed because we have to keep winning- week in and week out. We cannot be winning some and losing some.”

Singh indicated that the win over Tailevu/Naitasiri was needed as they have to improve on the EPL points standing.

He also highlighted that they need to learn from their mistakes and keep improving with the Battle of the Giants (B.O.G) coming up.

“For the team, the only motivation for the players is to win trophies, which we haven’t done for some time. We need to win a trophy before the year ends,” he added.
