Fix Ba Football Problems: Bula

Former national and Ba captain Taito Bula has called out on the Kamal Swamy coached side to fix the problem.

He said the recent 2-0 loss to Rewa in Lautoka last Sunday was the side’s third consecutive defeat and as a coach, Kamal Swamy should be worried about his job

Currently, Fiji’s Premier League 21-time champions sit on the fifth spot in the Digicel Premier League standings with only six points after six games – the worst performance in recent season.

“Ba is the never the same, performance is going down,” Bula said.

“The Ba team needs some soul searching. Once they sort the issues, fix the problem, Ba will return to the glory days,” he said.

He added the type of football Ba plays now are not the way champions play.

Ba defeated Nadi 4-1, Nadroga 1-0, and drew 0-0 with Labasa and lost to neighbours Lautoka1 -2, including 0-1 loss to Navua who won for the first time over the Men In Black after 11 years.

Swamy said: “We really need to find out what’s going on with the team. We have to certainly fix the mistakes before the next match.”
