Navua eyes win to keep B.O.G spot

The Prithvi Navua football team is determined to return to winning ways when they face visitors Lautoka in Sunday’s Extra Premier League (EPL) clash at the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour.

Navua surrendered a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Global Care Suva last Sunday where they dropped two valuable points in the race for a place in the Battle of the Giants (B.O.G) tournament.

Lautoka is still hurting from their 4-0 loss to defending EPL champions Rewa.

Navua head coach Roderick Singh told SUNsports yesterday, preparations were underway as they want to bounce back.

“We’re back to work and fully focused on Lautoka,” he said.

“We know we need the three points after dropping two crucial points last week and help us cement our B.O.G spot.”
