Immigration to suspend passport enrolment services from Friday

To assist customers with urgent travel plans, the Ministry has extended passport enrolment operating hours to 6pm from Monday, August 3, to Thursday, August 6.

Passport enrolment services will be suspended for three days from Friday as the Ministry of Immigration upgrades its passport system to improve efficiency and strengthen security.

In a statement, the Ministry said passport enrolment services would be unavailable from August 7 to August 9 as part of ongoing efforts to enhance service delivery, improve system efficiency and strengthen passport security.

To assist customers with urgent travel plans, the Ministry has extended passport enrolment operating hours to 6pm from Monday, August 3, to Thursday, August 6.

The Ministry said normal passport enrolment services would resume on Monday, August 10, following completion of the system upgrade.
