Kadavu raises more than $324,000 at annual provincial gathering

The people of Kadavu have concluded their week-long Bose and Solevu ni Yasana after raising more than $324,000 in support of provincial development.
A total of $324,226.29 was collected during the event, which brought together Kadavu people from across Fiji, including those living in Suva.
The solevu ni yasana was held on Thursday and Friday this week at the Suva foreshore.

The Bose ni Yasana and Solevu is one of the province's largest traditional gatherings, providing an opportunity for Kadavu people to meet, discuss issues affecting their communities, strengthen cultural ties, and contribute financially towards provincial development.
Representatives from all nine districts of Kadavu participated in the event: Nabukelevu, Naceva, Nakasaleka, Ono, Ravitaki, Sanima, Tavuki, Yale and Yawe.
The week-long gathering concluded with traditional ceremonies and presentations, marking another successful provincial meeting that reinforced unity and shared responsibility among the people of Kadavu.
