The Tomasi Tuicakau captained- Nadroga side continued on their unbeaten 26-match run, which had started from last year.
The Stallions came from behind to hold Nadi 2-2 at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka, yesterday.
What happened: The hosts took the lead in the 22nd minute when veteran striker, Osea Vakatalesau headed the ball past Nadi goalkeeper Vereti Dickson.
A mix-up in the Nadroga defence in the 28th minute saw nippy Rahul Krishna score Nadi’s equaliser.
Halftime: Nadroga 1-1 Nadi.
In the second spell Nadroga took heat as tempers flared as the match got heated up.
In the 49th minute Vakatalesau scored his second goal after it was set-up by Jibola Afonza.
In the 52nd minute it was Nadi striker Napolioni Qasevakatini who slotted the equaliser past Nadroga goalkeeper Sakeo Taganeca.
Comments: Nadroga coach Ramesh Sharma said, “No doubt there is a lot of improvement to be carried out especially in our defence.”
