Debutant unveils five-year plan
In the U13 grade, Waidina lost 1-5 to Nadi in their opening match while they caused an upset in the Ul4 by drawing with Macuata district. The competition ends tomorrow.

Crest Fiji Primary Schools Netball tournament debutants Waidina District from interior of Naitasiri Levu are determined to expose their young girls by participating in Labasa.
This is the first step, as they intend to set-up the foundation with a five-year development plan.
Speaking to SUNsports yesterday Waidina head coach, Salome Titilia, said her girl's had to adapt to high intensity netball matches.

She said they brought four teams comprising of 60 girls to Labasa. This is, she says, to help build them up as they learn the art of the game from powerhouse teams.
These teams are competing from Under 11-14.
Suva and Nasinu are regarded as powerhouses of primary school girl's netball in the country.
"We aim to follow their footsteps," Titilia said.
She said in the next five years their target is to win a major title in any of the grades.
"Most of our girls will remember this competition for a longtime because this is their first time. Now they have gauged their performance against other districts.
"We are from the Highlands and there is limited exposure to netball competitions."
Titilia said most of the girls in camp were exposed to rugby.
Reaching the knockout phases of each grade remains our goal, however, she is content with their performances so far.
In the U13 grade, Waidina lost 1-5 to Nadi in their opening match while they caused an upset in the Ul4 by drawing with Macuata district. The Waidina U9 side lost to Suva 0-8 in their pool opener.
"We are progressing as a team and aim to one day become a champion grade side," Titilia added.
The competition ends tomorrow.
