The St Marcellin primary school under nine team defeated the AOG (Assemblies of God) primary school 2 - 1 in the tier two final of the Suva primary school netball association competition.

Manager Ana Niunitoga dedicated their win to their parents who have been supportive throughout their campaign.

“They are here every Saturday supporting us,” she said.

“It is also to our heads of school, the Marist brothers.” 

Niunitoga commended her players efforts on the court after an intensive seven week training programme.

“All thanks to them (players) for always showing up to training and giving their best,” she said.

“Congratulations to both teams for reaching the final.”

Niunitoga also acknowledged their supporters backing all their grade teams during the competition .
