Suva Grammar School student Farhaan Tyronne Ali claimed gold in the Under-20 boys hammer throw after recording a personal best throw of 34.42 metres.
Kiara Thomas also won gold in the Under-20 girls hammer throw with a throw of 34.93m.

In the ambulant women’s shot put final, Naibili Vatunisolo secured bronze with a throw of 8.94m.
Fiji’s Under-18 boys 4x100m relay team also claimed bronze after finishing third in the final. The team featured Jolame Suguturaga of Suva Grammar School, Ebenezer Saukuru, Asaeli Nagado and Kirikiti Biu, all from Marist Brothers High School.
Other medal winners included Salanieta Vereivalu, who won silver in the Under-18 girls javelin throw with a personal best of 47.08m.
Setareki Dawai collected bronze in the Under-18 boys discus throw after a personal best effort of 54.97m.
Ebenezer Saukuru added another medal to Fiji’s tally, winning silver in the Under-18 boys javelin throw with a personal best throw of 62.16m.
Josefo Rakesa secured silver in the ambulant men’s javelin throw F41 category with a personal best throw of 27.81m.
