The Fiji Bulikula is likely to have warm-up Test matches as a build-up to the Women’s Rugby League world cup (RLWC) next year.

Head coach Josaia Rabele said talks are ongoing with relevant countries including Tonga.

“If we are camped in Fiji, then we’ll try to have matches against the Fiji resident players,” Rabele said.

“It’s still in discussion, nothing has been confirmed yet,” he said.

“We are likely to meet Tonga.”

RLWC26 will be held from October 16 to November 15 between Australia and Papua New Guinea.

The Fiji Bulikula team will make its first appearance in the Women’s RLWC after it dominated Canada, 48 - 0 and Nigeria, 62 – 4, respectively World Series competition.
