The cat and mouse game has begun for today’s FMF Ratu Sukuna Bowl Rise Fiji Rise showdown between champions Subrails Republic of Fiji Military Forces and Police.
The early arrival of the RFMF side for yesterday’s 4pm captain’s run at the ANZ Stadium, Suva, did not go down well with the Police side.
The Police officials ended their captain’s run and took their time in the dressing room while the RFMF side had to delay their run by more than 30 minutes.
Police team manager Divisional Police Commander Western Pita Keni said although they respected the RFMF side but the directive was for them to take the Tanoa back to Nasova.
“However, we will go in as an underdog,” he said.
RFMF manager Major Elia Rokowailoa said humility would be their weapon in today’s encounter.
