McDonald’s Fiji Drua Women’s captain Bitila Tawake believes the bond among players and playing on home ground will be an added plus in today’s Super W clash against the ACT Brumbies.
The showdown gets underway at 2.05pm at Govind Park in Ba.
Tawake said they want to put on a strong performance and win their second game in the competition.

“Definitely, the (29-25) win against Force last week pushed us into the next game,” she said.
“This is our second home game and our first time playing in Ba. It’s never easy playing at home because we have to defend our home ground.”
She said the team had prepared well and they are determined to make Ba a fortress.
Despite starting from the bench, Tawake has urged her team-mates to stick to their strengths and maintain possession.
“We need to keep the ball and play to our strengths. We should start well right from the first minute.”
