This was after the Fijian Drua confirmed their first ever open training session at Four R Stadium in Ba, tomorrow.
“Fans will have a unique opportunity to witness the raw intensity of a Super Rugby Pacific training session first-hand during the open training session from 12pm to 1pm,” stated the Drua press release.
“It’s a must-see rehearsal as the Drua fine tune their preparations and sharpen their tactics for the upcoming clash against cur-rent table-leaders, Brumbies on Saturday at same venue.”
Fijian Drua, general manager commercial, Shane Hussein said: “This is a great chance for students, fans, and everyone who might be available during their lunch break to enjoy the open training session and meet the players straight after.
“Fans have a good 30 minutes from 1pm to 1.30pm to take photos and share in the excitement as we countdown to matchday.”
Families and fans are encouraged to come out and be part of a special occasion, with the fixture against the Brumbies—on their second visit to Fiji—doubling as a homecoming for Ba locals Isoa Tuwai, Joji Nasova and Epeli Momo as they run out in front of their families and home supporters.
Tickets
The interest in the Drua versus Brumbies match is quite high.
“We’re encouraging our fans to get their hands on tickets early, avoiding long queues and wait times at the gate on matchday.
“Tickets are available right now on the Drua website http://drua.flicket.io or at any Jacks of Fiji, Shop N Save Supermarket or Prouds stores,” Hussein said.
The Four R Stadium has a massive grand-stand, which means the offer for grand-standing seating starting from only $10 for children (2-12 years) and $25 for adults.
