Fijian Drua Does It Again

The Mick Byrne coached Swire Shipping Fijian Drua has defeated the defending champions Crusaders 20-10 in round three of the Shop N Save Super Rugby clash at Churchill Park in Lautoka today.

The Fijian side has defeated the Crusaders twice at home.

The visitors started with penalty to first five eight Taha Kemara to lead 3-0.

In the 19 min Sevu Reece scored in front of the uprights with conversion by Kemara 10-0.

In the 24 min penalty Fijian Drua first five eogjt Armstrong-Ravula lands the penalty from 35m out.

Ten minutes later winger Selesitino Ravutaumada scored with conversion came through Armstrong-Ravula to level 10-10.

Ravutaumada hit back and the attempt to maul with limited success before Apisai Vota takes it up in the midfield.

They work it within 10meters of the line before Frank Lomani fires a long-floated pass out to Ravutaumada, who shrugs off full back Chay Fihaki and steps inside Willi Heinz to score in the corner.

In the 45 min Frank Lomani scored with Conversion came from Armstrong-Ravula 17-10.

With three minutes remaining on the clock Armstrong-Ravula extended the lead which sealed the fate of the team.
