Rookie Team Fijian women's rugby sevens halfback Reapi Uluinasau has a huge responsibility on her shoulders.
Uluinasau has become the side's number one halfback after Tokasa Seniyasi and Reijeli Uluinayau have been ruled out of the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020.
Speaking to SUNsports yesterday head coach Saiasi Fuli said the players failed to recover from their injuries.
"We have some key players injured, their Olympic dream have been shattered due to injury but ours will continue," Fuli said.
Now stepping into the 12-member squad are experienced Lavinia Tinai and Ana Maria Roqica.
Roqica who captained the Team Fiji women's rugby sevens team to the 2016 Rio Olympics has been playing hooker and could be the cover for Uluinasau.
Uluinasau caught the selectors attention after a sterling performance during the Skipper Cup whil playing full-back for Nadroga.
She was one of the top performers at the PacificAus Oceania Sevens competition in Townsville and scored a try in their 19-12 upset win over Australia.
Other senior players in the side who have been ruled out earlier are Luisa Tisolo and Vani Buleki.
