Suva Grammar School produced a dominant performance to thrash Queen Victoria School (QVS) 40-12 and claim the Vodafone Super Deans Under-16 title.

Benjamin Cokanauto opened the scoring for Grammar before fullback Jone Sokovata converted to give them a 7-0 lead.

Cokanauto crossed for his second try minutes later, with Sokovata again adding the conversion.

Tisa Tuinaceva then extended Grammar’s advantage with another try, converted by Sokovata, to push the score to 21-0.

QVS responded through Immanuel Benjamin, but Isikeli Vuniwaqa was unsuccessful with the conversion.

The Lions maintained their dominance after the break, running in another three tries to seal an emphatic 40-12 victory and the Under-16 crown.
