The Kadavu women’s rugby team is the new holders of the Pio Bosco Tikoisuva Trophy. This was after they beat Nasinu 37-31 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva, this morning.
This has been a great achievement for the side especially after winning the Royal Tea Ranadi Cup last year to be promoted to the Marama Championship
Kadavu prop Melea Salusalu said they are not looking back now.
“It’s an emotional day for us,” she said.
“At least we’ve won the Pio Bosco Trophy and be able to take something home.”
