Frank Lomani is impatient to be back in action for the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific season.
His last match was on April 5 last year before he was injured during the match against Crusaders and was ruled out for the rest of the year.
Lomani will co-captain the Drua with former U20 teammate Temo Mayanavanua.
He said the squad has an exciting group with new and experienced players coming in.
“It was so unfortunate that I had missed games last year. I worked really hard to be here today,” Lomani said.

“Now I’m in full training, really looking forward to be back with the team.”
He added they have lot of things to improve on to prepare well for the long season ahead.
“Temo (Mayanavanua) and I we go a long way back since 2015,” Lomani said.
“I’ve never seen someone that is really ambitious about what he does and to have him here back in Fiji playing together in the same team, being co-captains is really special.”
The Drua will host Moana Pasifika in Round 1 at Churchill Park, Lautoka.
“Everyone wants to put their best foot forward to represent the country. So, with that right now our focus is on Super Rugby 2026 and that’s where we are headed,” Lomani said.
Lomani has played 33 Super Rugby Pacific matches so far with the Drua and scored nine tries.
