Masi fronts court over assault allegation

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua centre Iosefo Masi appeared before Magistrate Semi Babitu in a special court sitting at the Nadi Magistrate court last Saturday.
He is charged with one count of assault.
The court heard that Masi allegedly assaulted his de-facto partner.
Masi was granted bail on the condition of one surety, a $500 non-cash bail bond, and a domestic violence restraining order.
The case has been adjourned to May 25 for plea at the Nadi Magistrate Court.
