The national sevens selection is open to former national rep Amenoni Nasilasila.
Head coach Osea Kolinisau said it was great to see him back on the local 7s scene.
Nasilasila, 32, who was convicted of rape in 2019, was released last month after completing his minimum non-parole period of six years.

“People are asking me the question; Noni (Nasilasila) is somebody that has experience, right now, all he need is just to get his fitness up and game time,” Kolinisau said.
“The opportunity is supposed to be open to anyone. Noni has served his time. It’s done and dusted.
“Who are we to try and hold somebody back. It’s about Yellow Ribbon,” he said.
“It happens to some of us, you get sent to prison serve your time, but, mentally, we still hold them back.
“The door is open to anyone, and we will monitor players to see if they got it and we will always invite players if they’re good enough to come in to camp.”
Nasilasila was denied to play for Malolo in the Skipper Cup final on November 1 due to a breach of tournament Terms of Participation (TOP).
