Ravoravo Wins Nadi 10s

Timoci Naloto scored twice as Ravoravo defeated Nawaka 14-7 in the final of the Nadi Rugby Union 10s tournament at Prince Charles Park, Nadi last Saturday.
First-five-eight Roger Taylor kicked both conversions for the Sabeto-based side in a game played in heavy underfoot.
The side also had the inclusion of former Fiji Bati and Ravoravo Rabbitohs prop Tikiko Noke, Iliesa Toga, Peniona Qoro, Seleti Cakau, Vilive Nakeleya, and Isei Nagausu.
Team manager Jale Satumo said the victory was possible as the players have been playing together in rugby league as well.
He added winning did not matter but playing as a team was paramount.
“It was a good tournament for the boys to come out in full force. We hope it would be bigger and better next time,” he said.
He added they wish to see more players from Ravoravo be part of the Nadi side.
In the semi-final, Sabeto beat Mosi 12-0.
