The King of Sevens Waisale Serevi will join Sireli Bobo’s coaching staff to guide the Fiji Sports Council (FSC) Under-20 side for a New Zealand tour this month.
FSC made the announcement yesterday as the team marched into camp.
“Serevi has offered to assist the FSC’s under-20 sevens squad; after a meeting with our acting Chief Executive Officer, Gilbert Vakalalabure, the maestro himself is ready to pass on his magic,” the post said.
FSC indicated the Qarani, Gau, Lomaiviti man will join the coaching staff next Monday bringing unmatched experience, passion and wisdom to the young warriors.

The team was selected from the FSC U20 sevens series which had five legs; it started in Navua before it moved to Sigatoka, Savusavu, Rakiraki and was concluded at Suva’s HFC Bank stadium on November 30.
In an earlier interview Bobo said the main goal was to help develop players especially from the grassroots to compete on the big stage.
The side will leave on January 29.
