The Serua women’s team is anticipating a tough clash against Navosa at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka tomorrow.

Serua Rugby Union secretary Lanieta Nainoca said the team has been putting in solid work during training including addressing the weaknesses identified in their previous outing.

“We’ve been preparing well for this week’s game,” she said.

“After reviewing our last performance, we’ve worked hard to improve on the areas where we fell short in.”

The Serua squad includes a number of new players, bringing fresh energy but also presenting some early challenges in building cohesion.

However, the team is committed to sticking with their original game plan, while making key adjustments where needed particularly in enhancing the speed and execution of their backline.

“It has been quite challenging with new players coming in, but we’re sticking to our structure and aiming to improve our backline speed and coordination,” Nainoca added.

As the team continues to blend experience with new talent, they remain confident in their direction and are eager to show their progress on the field.
