The FMF Suva rugby team will ensure that there is continuity in their phases in attack and defense.
This was the gist of Suva head coach Solomone Nute after their, 35 – 13, win against Ba at 4R stadium on Saturday.
“Even though we had possession in most parts of the game, we need to score points and create multiple phases” he said.
“The message to the boys was to enjoy the game, to hit them hard. Go out wide and we will score.”
Nute said his team will be gunning for a quarterfinal spot this season following their first win.
“We want to win Skipper Cup,” he said.
“We thank our supporters and our family members that came all the way from Suva.”
Nute dedicated their win to former Flying Fijian and veteran Suva player Enele Malele whose his sister passed away in London, England few weeks ago.
He added they were looking forward to a few players from the Drua development team to join them for their Skipper campaign this season.
