Naitasiri U20 ready for Suva

Naitasiri U20 head coach Dan Ligairi says his side will return to the drawing board to fix its mistakes before facing Suva next week.
Naitasiri produced a strong performance to beat Lautoka 30-18 in the third round of the 2026 Skipper Cup at Churchill Park Ground 3 in Lautoka last Saturday.
Ligairi said the side travelled with a clear objective and achieved its target of securing a bonus point.

“We came to play rugby, come with a win and go back with a win. We prepared well for Lautoka, and our objective this week was to secure a bonus point. We managed to get the five points, so heads off to the boys for their hard work.” Ligairi said.
Three players who featured for the Naitasiri senior side against Rewa also joined the U20 team; Percy Lord, Mosese Luveitasau Junior and Veresa Vilika making an impact.
“The boys boost and put in an outstanding performance.”
With the Lautoka match behind them, Ligairi said the focus had already shifted to Suva.
“Saturday’s game is history. Next week is Suva, they are a good team and we respect them. We will go back and work on our mistakes.
“We’re going back to the drawing board to study our game, work on our mistakes and set our game plan to shoot Suva.”
