Vitorina Veikoso is optimistic of a good outing at this year’s Marama Cup competition and earn a place in the Fijian Drua women’s side.
The 23-year-old Kilaka, Kubulau, Bua lass shares maternal ties to Naduru, Dogotuki in Macuata played for Ba last year.
Veikoso was instrumental for the women-in-black side in last year’s Royal Tea Ranadi Cup campaign.
She scored a hat-trick of tries in their 47-30 win over Macuata in the final at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka, in October, 2025.
“My goal is to have a good season with the Ba women’s team in the top competition,” she said.
I know the selectors of the Drua team follow the Marama competition closely and I will give it my all. I’d like to be part of the Drua or the Fijiana 7s team.
