Credit goes to God, says flyhalf Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula after becoming the first Fijian Drua player to cross the 200-point mark.

Ravula scored 201 points in just 29 appearances for the Drua.

Speaking to SUNsports, Ravula said the achievements are made possible through God alone.

“I couldn’t have done it without His guidance, there were tough games but we pushed through it,” he said.

Ravula made his Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific debut against the Blues on February 24, 2024 in Whangarei, New Zealand.

The 22-year-old who is the nephew of All Blacks star fl yhalf Richie Mo’unga. Ravula scored 17 points in the Drua’s 42-17 win over the Brumbies in Ba last Saturday.

“It was a tough game but I’m proud of how well the team pulled through. The crowd was just electric and we really enjoyed it.”

Ravula said the team was happy to come out with a win on a new home ground.

“To start with a win on a new stadium is special.

“The crowd in Ba really came out to support the team, which is really encouraging.”

Despite the win, Ravula said they would have to regroup and go again for another win against the Queensland Reds in Lautoka on Saturday.

“We were not perfect against the Brumbies; we still have a lot to do and we will work on it.”

Ravula said the team is working on a few things for the next few days to prepare for the Reds.

“They (Reds) are a very good side; really unpredictable.

“We are aiming for back-to-back wins but it can only be achieved if we polish our errors.”

The match kicks-off at 3.30pm.
