Youth of Christ club receives timely boost

The Youth of Christ Rugby Club received a timely sponsorship boost from ALL Available Supermarket as it pushes for success in the TISA Insurance Nadi Rugby Union (NRU) club competition.
The sponsorship will help the Nadi-based club purchase playing kits for the season while supporting its efforts to develop young rugby talent.
ALL Available Supermarket managing director Mohammed Sadid said supporting youth initiatives was an important way of giving back to the community.
“This is the first time we aresponsoring a rugby club,” Sadid said.
“It is very important to engage with the community and empower youths for greater things.”
He said the club had approached the company for assistance, and the supermarket was pleased to support its vision.
Youth of Christ executive Semera Hacere thanked the sponsor for backing the team and helping its players pursue their goals on and off the field.
“Our vision is to know God and know our purpose,” Hacere said.
“Our long-term goal is to win the Deii Trophy. Vinaka vakalevu to ALL Available Supermarket for believing in us and to Lion of Judah Security Services for its support in the community.”
Meanwhile, the TISA Insurance NRU club competition continues tomorrow at King Charles Park in Nadi.
