Minister says border security system no longer requires Government funding
Minister for Policing Ioane Naivalurua confirmed the status of the investigation in Parliament in response to questions from Leader of the Opposition Inia Seruiratu.

Mr Seruiratu made the call as part of his response to the 2026-2027 National Budget, where he outlined several recommendations aimed at strengthening national resilience and public safety.
