“I will resume my Bachelor’s degree of Business Information Systems at ICL Graduate Business School in Auckland, New Zealand next year; the course focuses on integrating business knowledge with modern technology ,’’ Ms Nisha said.

According to her the course study programme helps her understand how digital systems improve business operations, good decision making, and customer experiences and skills valuable in today’s technology driven world.

She is currently pursuing a caregiving course at Caregivers Training Institute in Nadi as an additional skill to her educational background. Her hobbies include listening to music, socialising, traveling, dancing and exploring new things in life.

“I was always inspired by the queens from past years who stood as role models for us younger generations; their confidence, compassion, and dedication to bringing positive change in people’s lives motivated me to step forward this year,’’ she added.

"Participating will also allow me to grow personally and use this platform to bring awareness to youth empowerment,’’ she said.

The theme she will be advocating on is “Rising above Crime and Shaping Responsible Youths for Tomorrow”.

She is encouraging young people to make better life choices.

‘’Be bold, be kind, and create the future you dream of,’’ she said.
