Zaira Bags Bronze In Talent Category At Miss Earth 2019
The theme for this year’s competition is: “Beauty pageant promoting environmental awareness.”

Miss Earth Fiji Zaira Begg has won bronze in the Talent Category of the Miss Earth 2019 competition.
She took part in the Air Group Talent.
Miss Begg’s talent was a contemporary piece which highlighted her Indo-Fijian and iTaukei identity.

“I am not Fijian, the other half of me is Indian. I mean, that’s what the world calls me, but its not me,” she said.
“I was taught to be a Fijian and you were taught to call me that.
“Along with whatever you call yourself, its just a label. Like the other half of me that is labelled Indian. They are labels.”
Like the other Miss Earth contestants, Miss Earth Fiji Zaira Begg plants a tree in Manila in the Philippines.
