Labasa set for big New Year’s Eve bash at bus stand

Labasa Town Council special administrator Paul Jaduram has announced a grand public gathering at the Labasa Bus Stand tomorrow (New Year's Eve) to ring in 2026 in style!

The festivities kick off at 8pm, promising a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere filled with music, laughter, and community spirit.

Mr Jaduram said the evening will feature live entertainment, including performances by local bands and singers.

“We want the people of Labasa to come together, enjoy the music and celebrate safely as we welcome the new year,” Mr Jaduram said.

In addition to the music, a variety of food and drinks will be available. Attendees can expect options such as burgers, juice, and kava to keep spirits high throughout the night.

The council has encouraged residents to attend and celebrate responsibly.

“It is a public gathering, so we ask everyone to be mindful of their surroundings and respect public spaces,” he said.

This event is part of the council's efforts to foster community spirit and provide a safe venue for families and friends to enjoy the festivities.
