Sigavou Studios to host Sip & Paint afternoon in Nadi

Art lovers and curious beginners alike are invited to unwind and tap into their creative side on Saturday, May 30, at Sigavou Studios in Nadi.

The studio is hosting a vibrant Sip & Paint afternoon from 4pm to 6pm, offering a relaxed, artist-guided experience designed to help participants rediscover the joy of creativity.

The two-hour session, themed “Back-to-Front” painting using acrylics on canvas, is suitable for both first-time painters and experienced artists.

Organisers say the event is a perfect way to de-stress, enjoy time with friends or colleagues, or even share a creative date with a partner.

Located at The VOU Hub on 13 Maqalevu Road (just five minutes off Denarau Road), the newly opened Sigavou Studios is quickly becoming a creative hub in the west.

Participants will be guided step-by-step in a supportive environment, with all art materials provided. Guests are encouraged to bring their own drinks and nibbles to enhance the relaxed, social atmosphere.

The event fee is $35 per person, with advance payment required to secure a spot. Spaces are limited, and each attendee must complete an individual registration.

In addition to the workshop, visitors can also explore Nadi’s newest art gallery, located in the colourful building at the studio.

The gallery features a range of hand-painted, Fiji-inspired original artworks, offering a unique opportunity to support local artists and take home something special.

The gallery is open Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm, and visits can be arranged by contacting the team.
