Three remanded after cocaine, meth raids
Police say cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana and cash were seized during separate operations in Lautoka and Sabeto.

Three people have been remanded in custody after appearing in court on separate charges of alleged unlawful possession of illicit drugs following two police raids in the Western Division.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the arrests were made as part of ongoing Joint Taskforce operations conducted in partnership with the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF).
In the first operation on July 23 at Naikabula, Lautoka, officers allegedly found two plastic packets containing 45.2 grams of cocaine and seized $3,155 in cash.

The suspect was charged and appeared in the Lautoka Magistrate Court before being remanded at the Natabua Corrections Centre.
In the second operation on July 28 at Sabeto, Nadi, Police allegedly seized 21.3 grams of methamphetamine, dried leaves that tested positive for marijuana, and $4,850 in cash.
A couple arrested during the raid appeared in the Nadi Magistrate Court on July 31 and were also remanded at the Natabua Corrections Centre.
The matter has been adjourned to August 5.
Police said the combined estimated street value of the drugs seized in both operations exceeds $23,000.
