It was November 30, 2019. Her life has never been the same.

Talei Kuta Raikadroka was three years old when she was reported missing.

She would’ve turned four on July 13, 2020.

Affectionately known as Pei, she lived with her family in Kalekana, a settlement outside of Suva.

She had slept at her paternal grandparents’ home, about 50 meters from her home, that Friday night (November 29, 2019).

She did that often.

Talei was reported missing at the Lami Police Station on December 1, 2019.

Her family members maintain she’s alive.

Her mother grapples with so many questions every single day.  Was she abducted? Was she trafficked? Is she warm?

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said Police were still investigating the case..to read her full story, subscribe to our e-edition. You can also pay through Vodafone’s MPAISA platform.
