Man found dead in Vitogo identified as hit-and-run victim

A relative has identified the man found in Vitogo, Lautoka, on Saturday, January 3.

Police say the victim was a 40-year-old resident of Vanuakula Settlement in Drasa, Lautoka.

The incident is being treated as a hit-and-run case, with a suspect currently being questioned at the Lautoka Police Station.

A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death as investigations continue.
