Police investigate alleged sacrilege in Samabula

Police are investigating an alleged case of sacrilege reported along Howell Road, Samabula, this morning.

According to a Police statement, officers from the Samabula Police Station received a report of the incident and have commenced investigations.

Initial inquiries indicate that a suspect allegedly gained entry through the main door of the premises before stealing cash.

The amount of money taken has yet to be confirmed.

Police say investigations are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding the alleged offence and identify those responsible.
