Two alleged drowning incidents were reported yesterday, in separate parts of the country.
The first involved a primary school student, who was found floating in the Kaleli River in Lautoka around 10am.
The second case involved a man in his 60s, who went fishing off Tubou, Lakeba, and was later found motionless in the sea.

In a statement, police confirms investigating the circumstances surrounding both tragic incidents.
Postmortem examinations will be conducted as part of the ongoing investigations.
